⁴ Anyone of Baasa who dies in the city, the dogs will eat, and anyone of his who dies in the field, the birds of the sky will eat.”

⁵ Now the rest of the deeds of Baasa and what he did and his might, are they not written in Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? ⁶ Then Baasa slept with his fathers and was buried in Tirzah, and his son Elah became king in his place.
